![]() They know that many passengers have got on the wrong bus because of their sign and been inconvenienced as a result. They know their sign is wrong and misleading. The manager couldn’t do anything about it and we had to make our own way to the correct hotel where the staff there told me they’d informed Hoppa Bus many times over many months that their sign is ambiguous but they haven’t changed it yet. 40 minutes later we pulled up outside the hotel where I checked again with the driver as I’d expected the hotel to be closer and he told me there is only one Premier Inn on Bath Road. With our hotel booking in hand we checked with the bus driver and got on that bus. The sign at the bus stop at Heathrow states “Premier Inn Bath Road”. I have made my opinion very clear to people that I have met during my daily work not to use these buses under any circumstances. I am appalled that Heathrow Airport allow this operator to hold this contract, it really is a disgrace. What a way to welcome visitors to this country. As there were no seats we stood for the journey, I asked him very politely if he could be less heavy on the brakes and slow down on the corners, to which he replied 'if you don't like it you can walk' !!! he then started mumbling in a foreign language ! In total we paid £25 for the privilege of being put in a situation which was unsafe due to his absent driving skills and where we were subjected to a verbal tirade from the driver. FREE Heathrow Airport Hotel Transfers Using Red London Buses Official Heathrow Airport hotel transfer buses charge a full price. The driver was incredibly rude and could not have been less helpful if he had tried. Firstly the cost £5 per person one way for what turned out to be less than 1 1/2 miles is a complete rip off. My friends were visiting from the USA and I am British. I recently used the Hoppa bus taking some friends to their Hotel on the Bath road.
